The T2 Super Phono adds a high-quality dual-stage, split-passive MM phono preamplifier to the T2, so it connects directly to any amplifier or active speaker. The preamp can be switched off if you want to use an MC cartridge or an external phono stage.
Built-in Phono Stage: The dual-stage split-passive MM phono preamp was first seen in the T2 W. The extra circuit-board space on the Super Phono allowed the design and layout to be improved for longevity and performance.
Cartridge: The Sumiko Rainier moving magnet cartridge, hand-crafted in Japan, is pre-mounted.
Plinth and Platter: A larger CNC-machined plinth with no plastic parts carries a thick, heavy glass platter.
Anti-Skating: An adjustable spring-based anti-skating mechanism optimizes tracking.

If the shipping box shows signs of physical damage, we recommend inspecting the product while the shipping company is present. Minor punctures or dents to the box do not often result in damage to the well-padded product inside, so a refusal of delivery is generally not necessary for minor box imperfections. However, should the product itself show signs of damage, it must be refused at the time of delivery for an RMA. Products not refused due to damage at the time of delivery will not be eligible for RMAs. To ensure your full rights to warranty and potential future claims, please have the delivery company note any box damage on file, even if the product itself appears undamaged.
