Canor's reference-line, zero-feedback Class-A vacuum tube preamplifier (Colour: Black).
The Hyperion P1 is a brand new vacuum tube preamplifier of pure Class-A operation with zero feedback, designed and produced by Canor. It is considered the reference preamplifier of the Canor brand.
Available in Black or Silver finish — both share identical circuitry and specifications.
The Hyperion P1 is Canor's newest reference-line preamplifier, built as a pure Class-A design with zero global feedback. It's hand-built in Slovakia and sits at the top of the Canor lineup as the brand's flagship preamp.
A 64-step balanced attenuator delivers gain control in precise 1 dB increments, with a minimum attenuation of 63 dB. It's housed in its own dedicated aluminum enclosure with 10mm-thick walls, giving it complete shielding from the rest of the chassis.
Both the attenuator assembly and the electronic circuitry are mounted on anti-vibration columns, eliminating mechanical resonance that would otherwise colour the signal path. The solid aluminum chassis itself adds further rigidity and damping.
The Hyperion P1 was engineered from the ground up to avoid any global feedback in its circuit -- a deliberate design choice Canor says results in a more musical, more realistic presentation than feedback-corrected designs typically achieve.
A solid 10mm-thick aluminum wall physically separates the analog signal path from the power supply section, and the power transformer itself is specially designed for thorough filtration -- together keeping supply-borne noise out of the audio circuit.
The attenuator's control electronics are galvanically separated from the audio path via optical drivers, so the digital control logic can't introduce noise into the signal.
The Hyperion P1 uses Canor's proprietary CMT™ (Canor PCB Milling Technology), which brings the dielectric loss factor of the PCB close to that of air -- repeatably approaching the performance level of point-to-point, wire-to-wire connections.

If the shipping box shows signs of physical damage, we recommend inspecting the product while the shipping company is present. Minor punctures or dents to the box do not often result in damage to the well-padded product inside, so a refusal of delivery is generally not necessary for minor box imperfections. However, should the product itself show signs of damage, it must be refused at the time of delivery for an RMA. Products not refused due to damage at the time of delivery will not be eligible for RMAs. To ensure your full rights to warranty and potential future claims, please have the delivery company note any box damage on file, even if the product itself appears undamaged.
