The Debut EVO 2 focuses on the core things that make a turntable sound great: technically correct design and expert craftsmanship, handmade in the EU. It has an 8.6" one-piece carbon tonearm, a TPE-damped anti-magnetic aluminium platter and the new Pick it MM EVO cartridge, developed with Ortofon.
Carbon Tonearm: The super-stiff, lightweight one-piece carbon tonearm sits on a massive CNC-milled aluminium bearing block that absorbs unwanted resonance from the cartridge. Anti-skating force adjusts for the different forces in the inner and outer grooves.
Pick it MM EVO: Developed by Pro-Ject with Ortofon, the Pick it MM EVO uses Ortofon's split pole pins for a flat frequency response comparable to MC cartridges.
Platter: The 1.7 kg die-cast aluminium platter has an internal TPE damping ring to reduce resonance and wow and flutter. It is anti-magnetic, so you can upgrade to an MC cartridge.
Drive: A high-quality AC motor in a proper suspension is powered by a DC/AC generator that creates a clean sine wave for stable speed. Change between 33 and 45 rpm with the rocker switch on the underside.
Clean Connections: The RCA output box and power socket are built into the plinth. The gold-plated RCA sockets accept the included Connect it Phono E cable and let you upgrade to a True Balanced connection later, with an MC cartridge or a Pick it PRO Balanced.

If the shipping box shows signs of physical damage, we recommend inspecting the product while the shipping company is present. Minor punctures or dents to the box do not often result in damage to the well-padded product inside, so a refusal of delivery is generally not necessary for minor box imperfections. However, should the product itself show signs of damage, it must be refused at the time of delivery for an RMA. Products not refused due to damage at the time of delivery will not be eligible for RMAs. To ensure your full rights to warranty and potential future claims, please have the delivery company note any box damage on file, even if the product itself appears undamaged.
