The SB-5000 R|Evolution is SVS's flagship sealed subwoofer, trickling down amplifier technology from the company's PB17-Ultra R|Evolution into a freshly redesigned 15" driver with a pair of 3" voice coils, each driven by its own dedicated monoblock amplifier.
A solid, heavily reinforced sealed MDF cabinet delivers crisp, room-pressurizing bass down to 14Hz, while the amplifier's built-in line conditioner regulates your home's AC power for clean, consistent output.
A front-panel Intelligent Control Interface with touch buttons and an LED bar handles day-to-day adjustments, while the free SVS smartphone app unlocks full control: 6-band parametric EQ, variable low-pass crossover, phase control, and automatic Room EQ that measures your room with a smartphone microphone and corrects the response for you. Three presets — Movie, Music, and Custom — let you switch tunings instantly from the couch.
Both unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR line-level/LFE inputs are on board, along with RCA and XLR outputs so you can daisy-chain a second subwoofer for even bass coverage across a larger room.
SVS was founded in 1998 by a group of audio enthusiasts seeking a better alternative to the under-performing, over-priced subwoofers of the time. By applying rigorous engineering and using premium components, SVS has built a line of high-performance, high-value audio products that bring music and movies to life with startling realism.

If the shipping box shows signs of physical damage, we recommend inspecting the product while the shipping company is present. Minor punctures or dents to the box do not often result in damage to the well-padded product inside, so a refusal of delivery is generally not necessary for minor box imperfections. However, should the product itself show signs of damage, it must be refused at the time of delivery for an RMA. Products not refused due to damage at the time of delivery will not be eligible for RMAs. To ensure your full rights to warranty and potential future claims, please have the delivery company note any box damage on file, even if the product itself appears undamaged.
