The PB-5000 R|Evolution is SVS's flagship ported subwoofer, built for the largest rooms and the most demanding home theaters. It shares its 15" dual-3" voice coil driver and dual monoblock amplifier architecture with the SB-5000 R|Evolution, tuned instead for a ported enclosure and even greater output.
A heavily braced cabinet and precision port design push useable bass extension down to 11Hz, with the same reference-grade DSP platform as the rest of the R|Evolution flagship line.
A front-panel Intelligent Control Interface with touch buttons and an LED bar handles day-to-day adjustments, while the free SVS smartphone app unlocks full control: 6-band parametric EQ, variable low-pass crossover, phase control, and automatic Room EQ that measures your room with a smartphone microphone and corrects the response for you. Three presets — Movie, Music, and Custom — let you switch tunings instantly from the couch.
Both unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR line-level/LFE inputs are on board, along with RCA and XLR outputs so you can daisy-chain a second subwoofer for even bass coverage across a larger room.
SVS was founded in 1998 by a group of audio enthusiasts seeking a better alternative to the under-performing, over-priced subwoofers of the time. By applying rigorous engineering and using premium components, SVS has built a line of high-performance, high-value audio products that bring music and movies to life with startling realism.

15" Glass Fiber Composite Driver: The PB-5000 R|Evolution shares its reimagined 15" high-excursion driver with the SB-5000 R|Evolution — a glass fiber composite cone with dual edge-wound voice coils, each with its own high-current, 6-layer bifilar flat wire winding, fed by dual-mono amplifier outputs for maximum acoustic output with precise control.
Dual Monoblock Amplifier: A 2,000-watt Continuous / 5,000+ watt Peak Dual Monoblock Class D amplifier drives the woofer with effortless power, reaching down to 13Hz in Extended mode.
Advanced DSP Platform: A high-resolution DSP platform with precision DACs delivers pinpoint-accurate frequency response and consistent performance under any conditions.
Triple High-Flow Port Design: Three high-flow ports with rounded edges maximize airflow and eliminate turbulence and port noise, even at reference output levels, combining thunderous low-frequency extension with refined precision.
SVS Subwoofer Control App: The free SVS Subwoofer Control app gives full command of the sub's performance and personalization, including a 6-band parametric EQ, Room Gain Compensation, Auto Room EQ (using a smartphone's built-in microphone to measure and correct in-room bass response), variable low-pass crossover, phase, and polarity. Three memory presets allow instant switching between tailored settings for movies, music, or a custom mode.
Flexible Line-Level Connections: Both unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR line-level/LFE inputs and outputs are provided, supporting a direct LFE feed from an AV receiver, an L/R stereo connection from a preamp, or daisy-chaining a second subwoofer for larger rooms.

If the shipping box shows signs of physical damage, we recommend inspecting the product while the shipping company is present. Minor punctures or dents to the box do not often result in damage to the well-padded product inside, so a refusal of delivery is generally not necessary for minor box imperfections. However, should the product itself show signs of damage, it must be refused at the time of delivery for an RMA. Products not refused due to damage at the time of delivery will not be eligible for RMAs. To ensure your full rights to warranty and potential future claims, please have the delivery company note any box damage on file, even if the product itself appears undamaged.
