The UHD5000 is Zidoo's flagship 4K UHD media player, built around a dual hidden HDD bay design (each bay supports up to 16TB) so a full local media library lives right inside the unit. A Realtek RTD1619BPD quad-core processor and the built-in VS10 image quality engine handle Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG processing, with HDMI 2.1 output at 4K 60Hz, 12-bit color, and BT.2020 wide color gamut.
On the audio side, an XMOS + ESS9068 DAC handles hardware decoding of DSD512, PCM up to 768kHz/32-bit, and MQA, with XLR balanced and RCA analog outputs plus optical and coaxial digital ports. Dual HDMI outputs let the UHD5000 send video and high-resolution audio separately, so a system doesn't need an AV receiver capable of the latest HDMI spec just to get full-quality sound. External BD/DVD/CD drives are supported for playing and ripping physical discs.
