It shares its 15" dual-3" voice coil driver and dual monoblock amplifier architecture with the SB-5000 R|Evolution, tuned instead for a ported enclosure and even greater output.
A heavily braced cabinet and precision port design push useable bass extension down to 11Hz, with the same reference-grade DSP platform as the rest of the R|Evolution flagship line.
A front-panel Intelligent Control Interface with touch buttons and an LED bar handles day-to-day adjustments, while the free SVS smartphone app unlocks full control: 6-band parametric EQ, variable low-pass crossover, phase control, and automatic Room EQ that measures your room with a smartphone microphone and corrects the response for you. Three presets — Movie, Music, and Custom — let you switch tunings instantly from the couch.
Both unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR line-level/LFE inputs are on board, along with RCA and XLR outputs so you can daisy-chain a second subwoofer for even bass coverage across a larger room.
