The PB-3000 R|Evolution is SVS's reference ported subwoofer — built for the largest rooms and the most demanding movie soundtracks, without giving up the control and precision that defines the R|Evolution line.
A newly designed high-excursion 13" driver in a dual-port ported enclosure is driven by a 1,200-watt RMS (4,000+ watt peak) amplifier, extending output down to 16Hz.
A front-panel Intelligent Control Interface with touch buttons and an LED bar handles day-to-day adjustments, while the free SVS smartphone app unlocks full control: 3-band parametric EQ, variable low-pass crossover, phase control, and Room Gain Compensation (selectable at 25, 31, or 40Hz with a 6 or 12dB slope) to correct for how bass builds up in a real room. Three presets — Movie, Music, and Custom — let you switch tunings instantly from the couch.
Unbalanced RCA inputs accept either a mono LFE feed from an AV receiver or an L/R stereo signal from a preamp, and RCA outputs let you daisy-chain a second subwoofer for even bass coverage across a larger room.
SVS was founded in 1998 by a group of audio enthusiasts seeking a better alternative to the under-performing, over-priced subwoofers of the time. By applying rigorous engineering and using premium components, SVS has built a line of high-performance, high-value audio products that bring music and movies to life with startling realism.
