Mass-Loaded Carbon Fibre Sandwich Chassis:
A key highlight of the RPM 9 Carbon is its extra-heavy plinth, made from CNC-machined MDF filled with resin-coated steel pellets and wrapped in a carbon-fibre surface layer. This advanced sandwich construction drastically reduces vibration and resonance, creating an acoustically inert foundation for your vinyl playback.
Magnetically Decoupled Feet:
The entire chassis is isolated from external vibrations through a set of magnetic feet. This innovative suspension system allows the RPM 9 Carbon to achieve superior damping characteristics, resulting in a wider soundstage, lower noise floor, and increased sonic clarity.
Outboard Motor & External Speed Control:

9” 9cc Evolution Carbon Fibre Tonearm:
The RPM 9 Carbon is equipped with Pro-Ject’s acclaimed 9” 9cc Evolution tonearm. Constructed from a single piece of carbon fibre, it offers exceptional rigidity and internal damping. The inverted bearing design and low resonance characteristics make it ideal for both MM and MC cartridges, allowing for outstanding tracking accuracy and detail retrieval.
High-Mass Aluminium Platter with TPE Damping:
The 7.2 kg acoustically inert aluminium platter features integrated TPE damping and a vinyl mat surface to suppress micro-vibrations. This design improves rotational stability and contributes to an exceptionally black noise floor and lifelike dynamics.
Gold-Plated RCA Outputs:
The RPM 9 Carbon includes high-quality gold-plated RCA output connectors for superior signal integrity and resistance to corrosion. A 5P Connect-It CC phono cable with RCA plugs is included, and an XLR balanced cable upgrade is available for even higher performance systems.
