THX Ultra2 was a certification program for home theater components designed to reproduce a reference cinema experience in larger rooms and longer viewing distances than the standard THX Select specification. Klipsch built this bundle around that standard, pairing horn-loaded compression drivers with Cerametallic™-cone woofers across every speaker in the system for high sensitivity and low distortion at reference playback levels.
