The Klipsch PRO-6.5T-RK is a rock-enclosure speaker, molded and finished in granite so it sits among real stone, garden borders, or foundation plantings without drawing attention as an audio component. It uses the same 6.5" IMG woofer and Tractrix®-horn tweeter platform as Klipsch’s PRO-series landscape satellites, so the sound quality doesn’t take a back seat to the disguise.
105° Tractrix® Horn Tweeter
A 1" aluminum dome tweeter mounted on a custom 105° Tractrix® horn gives the PRO-6.5T-RK a wide, even coverage pattern — important for a rock speaker, which is often placed low to the ground at odd angles relative to a patio or pool seating area rather than mounted at ear height like a satellite on a stake.
70V, 100V, or 8-Ohm Operation
Like the PRO-6.5T-LS landscape satellite, the PRO-6.5T-RK supports 70V operation with 6.25W, 12.5W, 25W, and 50W taps, is 100V-compatible, and can run as an 8-ohm bypass speaker. That means a pair of rock speakers can be added to an existing 70V-distributed landscape zone alongside stake-mounted satellites, or run independently off a two-channel amplifier for a smaller pool or patio area.
IP45-Rated, UV-Treated Fiberglass Shell
The rock enclosure itself is a mechanically reinforced, UV-treated fiberglass cabinet rated IP45 for weather resistance, finished with stainless steel hardware to prevent corrosion. The granite texture and colouring is molded and pigmented through the shell rather than painted on, so scuffs from lawn equipment or foot traffic don’t reveal a different colour underneath. The same speaker is also available from Klipsch in a sandstone finish for lighter-coloured landscaping.

Does the granite finish fade or change colour outdoors over time?
The granite texture and colour are molded through the UV-treated fiberglass shell rather than applied as a surface coating, so it’s built to resist fading and chipping from years of direct sun and weather exposure.
Can I run the PRO-6.5T-RK on the same 70V zone as PRO-6.5T-LS landscape satellites?
Yes — both speakers share the same 70V/100V/8-ohm operating platform, so they can be mixed on the same distributed zone, which is useful when you want some speakers disguised as rocks near a garden bed and others staked more visibly elsewhere on the property.
Is a subwoofer recommended alongside the PRO-6.5T-RK?
For most patio and garden listening, a pair on their own is plenty, but if you want deeper bass across a larger outdoor area we can pair them with the Klipsch PRO-12SW-LS direct-burial landscape subwoofer.
