The Klipsch PRO-6.5T-LS is a dedicated landscape satellite speaker, finished in a weatherproof, paintable brown designed to blend into mulch, garden beds, and shrubbery rather than stand out. It ships with an 18" ground stake (PRO-18-GS) so it can be positioned and aimed directly among plantings around a patio, pool, or garden path, and it’s equally at home as part of a large 70V zone or a simple two-speaker 8-ohm patio pair.
105° Tractrix® Horn Tweeter
A 1" aluminum dome tweeter is mounted on an all-new 105° custom Tractrix® horn, paired with a 6.5" IMG woofer. That horn geometry is what gives the PRO-6.5T-LS its wide, even 105° horizontal coverage pattern — useful outdoors, where there’s no wall or ceiling to reflect sound back toward the listener the way there is indoors.
70V, 100V, or 8-Ohm — One Speaker, Any System
The PRO-6.5T-LS is built for the way commercial and residential landscape audio zones are actually wired: it supports 70V operation with selectable 6.25W, 12.5W, 25W, and 50W taps, is 100V-compatible for installations using that standard, and can be run as a straightforward 8-ohm bypass speaker off a standard amplifier or receiver. That means the same speaker works whether you’re adding two speakers to a patio zone or twenty across a large property on a single 70V line.
UV-Treated, Glass-Filled ABS Cabinet
The enclosure is molded from UV-treated, glass-filled ABS plastic, chosen for its resistance to warping and colour fade under direct sun exposure over years of outdoor use, and finished in a paintable matte brown so the visible portion above ground can be blended into the surrounding landscaping. The PRO-6.5T-LS is also compatible with the optional PRO-1-SM surface-mount arm if a wall or post mount is preferred over ground staking.

Yes — while it ships with an 18" ground stake for garden and landscape placement, it is also compatible with the optional PRO-1-SM surface-mount arm for wall, post, or eave installation.
What’s the difference between running this at 70V versus 8-ohm?
70V operation lets you wire many speakers on a single long run with individual volume taps set per speaker, which is typical for larger properties or commercial landscapes. 8-ohm bypass mode is simpler wiring for a small number of speakers run directly off a standard receiver or amplifier — we can help determine which makes sense for your property size.
Does this need a dedicated subwoofer to sound full outdoors?
The PRO-6.5T-LS reaches down to about 100Hz on its own, which is typical for a satellite of this size. For fuller low-end across a larger outdoor zone, we’d recommend pairing it with the Klipsch PRO-12SW-LS direct-burial landscape subwoofer.
