Each Surr 200 speaker houses one 3" front-firing full-range driver for standard rear-surround duty and one 3" up-firing driver dedicated to bouncing Dolby Atmos® height information off the ceiling — four drivers total across the pair, compared to two on the Surr 100. Klipsch rates the pair’s frequency response at 235Hz to 20kHz with a maximum output of 106dB.
Like the rest of the Flexus surround lineup, the Surr 200 connects to a paired Flexus Core soundbar over Klipsch’s Flexus Transport wireless system using an included dongle, with each speaker independently powered from its own AC outlet — no speaker wire required between the bar and the rear of the room. A USB-C and a USB-A port on each unit support firmware updates and servicing.
Because the Surr 200’s up-firing drivers are meant to complement a bar that already supports Dolby Atmos® height processing, Klipsch designs it to pair with the Flexus Core 200 or Core 300 — both of which already have their own physical up-firing drivers built into the bar — rather than the entry-level, virtual-Atmos® Core 100.

If the shipping box shows signs of physical damage, we recommend inspecting the product while the shipping company is present. Minor punctures or dents to the box do not often result in damage to the well-padded product inside, so a refusal of delivery is generally not necessary for minor box imperfections. However, should the product itself show signs of damage, it must be refused at the time of delivery for an RMA. Products not refused due to damage at the time of delivery will not be eligible for RMAs. To ensure your full rights to warranty and potential future claims, please have the delivery company note any box damage on file, even if the product itself appears undamaged.
