The Black finish of the Klipsch Flexus Core 200 sits in the middle of the Flexus lineup, stepping up from the entry-level Core 100 with a genuine 3.1.2-channel layout: a dedicated center channel for dialogue, plus two up-firing drivers that bounce Dolby Atmos® height information off the ceiling instead of relying on virtual processing alone.
A Real Center Channel, Not Just Virtual Surround
Where the Core 100 uses front-firing drivers for everything, the Core 200 adds a dedicated 0.75" horn-loaded tweeter down the middle of the 44"-wide bar specifically for center-channel dialogue, flanked by four 2.25" aluminum cone drivers for the left/right front channels. Two 2.25" up-firing drivers handle Atmos height information, and two built-in 4" woofers cover the low end — nine drivers and 185W RMS total, all in a single box.
Overhead Effects Without a Height Speaker Install
The up-firing drivers bounce sound off the ceiling to simulate overhead Atmos and DTS:X objects, giving genuinely more three-dimensional imaging than the Core 100’s virtual processing, without requiring in-ceiling speakers or a separate box for the height channels.
Expandable Connections and Control
HDMI eARC, digital optical, and USB-C round out the connection panel, with Bluetooth® for wireless streaming and Klipsch’s Flexus Transport wireless protocol ready to add a Flexus subwoofer or a pair of wireless surrounds later.
