Features
Desktop Speaker Stands: The Kano SP6HD desktop speaker stands measure 6.1875" in height and bring your speakers into better alignment with your ears, letting you capture a wider range of frequencies. The SP6HD desktop stands were designed to work perfectly with Kanto's YU6 or TUK powered speakers; use the screw hole on the base of each speaker and the included 1/4"-20 screws to securely fasten them to the stands. The SP6HD desktop stands will also work with other brands of speakers that are similar size and weight of compatible Kanto speakers. These desktop stands allow you to place your compatible speakers at ear-level for optimal listening enjoyment.
Note: 1/4"-20 screws are included to secure the Kanto YU6 and TUK speakers to the desktop stands; other brands of similiar size speakers will not use these screws.
Adjustable Top-Plates: Two top plate sizes are provided to mount the Kanto YU6 or TUK powered speakers; or other compatible speaker brand. The top-plates allow you to rotate your speakers to the left or right 15 degrees to ensure every sound reaches your ears. The top-plates can be positioned at -15 degrees, 0 degrees, or +15 degrees. The adjustment must be done prior to mounting the top-plates to the upright posts.
- Rectangular Top-Plate Dimensions: 4.375" (w) x 7.125" (d)
- Square Top-Plate Dimensions: 7.0625" (w) x 7.0625" (d)
Note: Your compatible desktop speakers should measure 4.125" to 9.0" (w) x 6.75" to 10.875" (d), and weigh no more than 30 lbs.
Vibration Reduction: The SP6HD's heavy steel structure and closed cell foam padding further improve nearfield listening by significantly reducing vibration, leaving you with cleaner, more accurate sound. Surface vibrations caused by your speakers can result in muddy sound. The Kanto SP6HD desktop speaker stands prevent this by utilizing heavy steel and closed cell foam padding to absorb as much resonance as possible.
Wire & Cable Management: The Kanto SP6HD speaker floorstands feature hollow upright posts that allow you to easily route your power cable and speaker wire, ensuring they remain concealed. The power cable and/or speaker wire should be no larger than 0.25" in diameter.
