Your high-definition flat-panel display represents a significant investment. Monster Power's® High Definition Video HTFS 1000 PowerCenter protects your plasma or LCD display from harmful spikes and surges, while conditioning the power coming into your gear for optimal performance!
Your flat-panel's first line of defense, the HTFS 1000 has a whopping 3145 joules of Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV) protection. It uses Monster's Tri-Mode Plus protection circuitry that, when hit by a large surge, immediately disconnects everything attached to it to prevent serious damage. At the same time, dual indicators light up and an audible alarm sounds to let you know the PowerCenter has protected your system.
AC power noise can affect high-definition flat-panel displays more than regular televisions. The HTFS 1000's Clean Power high-definition video filtering helps eliminate EMF and RFI noise from your AC power both going into and coming out of your flat-panel display, giving you a better picture.
The PowerCenter is thin enough to be easily installed behind most wall-mounted flat-panel displays. Its extra-long 8-foot, heavy-duty cord features a flat, right-angle plug that won't get in the way of furniture, and 24k gold contacts for maximum power transfer. You also get a detachable diagnostic control panel that mounts just about anywhere, so you can conveniently monitor your system's status.
Details:
Diagnostic Control Panel: The diagnostic control panel can be detached from the PowerCenter and mounted underneath the TV, allowing you to remotely locate the PowerCenter. The result is a clean install that also allows you to monitor the system performance. The panel is connected to the PowerCenter by a 6' long cable. There are also two Velcro strips attached to the display for remote installation.
Mountable Chassis: Mounting tabs on both sides of the HTFS 1000 allows the surge protector to be mounted beside or behind video displays.
Remote AC /DC Input: This feature allows you to remotely activate the switched outlet. There is a 1/8" mono input (cable supplied). By plugging the supplied cable into this input, and plugging the other end of the cord into the remote turn-on/off output from another component (such as a receiver), the HTFS 1000's switched outlet is turned on when the component is turned on.
Fast-Acting, High Capacity 3145 Joule Surge Protection: The fast acting circuitry is designed to safely absorb and dissipate AC surges.
Advanced Monster Clean Power Circuitry: The Advanced Monster Clean Power Circuitry eliminates noise in the AC power-line going to he High Definition components and other equipment hooked to the PowerCenter.
Tri-Mode Protection Auto Disconnect Circuitry: When activated by a big hit to the HTFS 1000, this circuitry automatically disconnects all components and alerts you when a surge has occurred.
Power Cord: The eight foot long high current power cord with 24k gold contacts is designed for maximum power transfer.
